A shoe inspired by running, created for urban exploration. This revisit to the adidas NMD_R1 shoe is an avant-garde take on the original '80s model, with painted plug edges and colored lace ends for a modern touch. Its stretch-mesh upper conforms to the shape of the foot for ultimate comfort. Long journeys and slippery sidewalks are no longer a problem, thanks to the grippy rubber outsole and BOOST cushioning underfoot. The upper of this shoe is made from a high-performance fiber containing 50% Parley Ocean Plastic, a material created from recycled plastic waste that has been collected from islands, beaches and coastlines, to prevent ocean pollution. The remaining 50% is made from recycled polyester.
