Men's underwear: boxers and undergarments

310 products
24 of 310 products

The men's boxer is the most worn underwear: brief boxers that fit snugly, long boxers that cover the upper thigh, available in cotton, organic cotton or microfiber, sold individually or in packs of several pieces. Among the brands available are: Falke, Colorful Standard, Jack & Jones, Guess and DIM.

A cotton men's boxer remains the most breathable for everyday wear.

Which men's boxer to choose?

The boxer brief or trunk stops at the top of the thigh and provides good support. The long boxer covers more of the thigh and prevents chafing, especially under fitted trousers. The brief, being more cutaway, is the lightest option. This page also includes some sport shorts, worn close to the body under a short.

Cotton, organic cotton or microfibre?

Cotton breathes and absorbs sweat; when mixed with a bit of elastane, it retains its shape. Organic cotton provides the same comfort. Microfibre, smooth and lightweight, dries quickly and doesn’t show under fine trousers: it is suitable for sports.

What size of boxer to take?

The waistband should neither pinch nor roll down, and the legs of the boxer shouldn't ride up. If you're between sizes, the smaller one offers better support if the waistband doesn't leave a mark.

Boxers in packs: good idea?

Packs of three to ten allow you to replace worn underwear in one go, in the same size and style. The boxer pack should be chosen based on the material: thick cotton lasts longer than very fine jersey.

How to care for your underwear?

Wash them at 40 °C, inside out for branded waistbands, and air dry: the dryer’s heat loosens the elastic. Replace a boxer whose waistband no longer holds.

Which underwear brands to choose?

These boxer brands are all showcased on this page.

  • Falke, a family-run business from Schmallenberg known for its socks, also produces boxers.
  • Organic cotton boxers made in Portugal: Colorful Standard applies its basics line there.
  • Jack & Jones, from the Danish Bestseller group, offers boxers sold in packs.
  • Guess from Los Angeles places its logo on the waistband of its boxers.
  • Born from tights and stockings in Troyes, DIM also outfits men in underwear.

What other basics to choose?

To complete the drawer, men's socks and tank tops also have their page, among the men’s basics.

When to find boxers at reduced prices?

Underwear has no season: for a boxer on sale, Black Friday, winter sales, and summer sales are all equally good, especially for packs.

At the end of November, check the Black Friday page; during the sales, visit the men’s clothing sales page; in between, see the Promotions page. Fast shipping and lowest price guarantee.

Frequently asked questions

Boxer or brief: which to choose?

The boxer offers more coverage and support, while the brief is lighter. For sports and fitted trousers, the boxer brief is often preferred.

How long to keep a boxer?

As long as the waistband holds and the fabric doesn’t thin out. A loose elastic is the first sign of wear.

Which boxer for sports?

A boxer made of microfibre or technical material, close to the body, that dries quickly. Cotton retains sweat during exertion.

How to prevent a boxer from riding up?

Choose the right size and a boxer with legs that finish with a fine elastic edge. A long boxer rides up less on the thigh.

Should you wash a new boxer before wearing it?

It’s recommended, to remove the treatments from the fabric. A first wash at 30 °C, inside out, is enough to make it more soft.
