The suède is the back of a leather that is sanded to give it a soft and supple appearance. It comes from farms in Rio Grande do Sul. It is tanned at Brésil according to REACH standards. Water is used sparingly during the tanning process. This suède is then coated with two water-repellent oils to protect the sneakers from light rain. The tanneries working with VEJA are certified by the Leather Working Group. Made at Brésil.
T.P.U. (Thermo Plastic Polyurethane) is a film thermally bonded to the sneaker. It provides additional seamless reinforcement, while being very light.
L-Foam is the technology developed for Running VEJA . Composed of 30% natural latex and 70% synthetic latex, this cushioning insert provides comfort and protection against vibration (30% natural latex, 70% synthetic latex). Made at Brésil.
The V-Knit is a knitting technique that provides elasticity and adaptability to the foot. It is knitted in one piece to reduce material overlap and stitching. It forms a light and comfortable sneaker in which the foot breathes while being well supported.
This technique eliminates the need for cutting and scraps of fabric, thus reducing material waste (100% recycled polyester). Made at Brésil.
