Maca from Pérou, or Maca Lepidium Meyenii, is a tuberous plant found on the South American continent. It grows mainly in the highlands, at an altitude of over 4,000 meters. The Peruvian maca is one of the few tubers that can withstand extreme temperatures and high altitudes. For thousands of years, local populations have used the revitalizing and strengthening properties of maca by consuming its root. Around the world, it is known for its aphrodisiac properties, but maca is a much richer and more interesting plant. Indeed, it is full of health benefits: children, pregnant or breastfeeding women and athletes can consume it for its extraordinary nutritional contributions.
Origine and manufacturing method
Maca from Pérou is native to Bolivia and Pérou, mainly. It grows in the mountainous regions of the Andes. At Natura Force, we offer a 100% Peruvian macaorigine, from the region of Junin, known to produce the best maca in the world, in the respect of the plurimillenary traditions.
Our maca is also certified organic. It is cultivated at Pérou in a natural way, in conditions that respect the plant, nature and the consumer, without artificial fertilizers or pesticides. For the manufacture of this food supplement, the extract is made with water, without chemical solvent. The product does not contain either of excipient. Finally, for an additional guarantee of quality, our product is also analyzed, manufactured and packaged in France by a laboratory with GMP standards and certified AB by the Bureau Veritas.

Posology
The maca of Pérou in food supplement is easy to consume daily. It is enough to swallow three capsules per day, with a glass of water, and preferably durant meals.
This supplement is often recommended in case of fatigue, stress or at the approach of winter. It is also recommended in case of iron deficiency. There are alsoautres more specific indications for the consumption of Peruvian maca: the decrease of the libido and the pains related to the menopause or to the menstruations.
At Pérou, the local populations have always carried out cures of a duration of three months. Several weeks of cures are then necessary to feel the benefits and these increase tenfold after two months of intake. The cure is thus generally renewed once or twice a year.
